Steady Aid

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2, 2026

Overview

Steady Aid is designed to work almost entirely on your device. There's no account or sign-in, and the app's first-aid guide content is bundled with the app itself — it doesn't need to talk to any server to work. This policy explains the few places data is involved.

Information stored only on your device

If you choose to fill in the optional health profile (name, age, blood type, allergies, medications, conditions, emergency contact, physician info, notes), that information is stored locally on your device only. It is never uploaded to a server, sold, or shared with anyone — including us. You can clear it anytime from the Profile screen.

Location

If you use the "Find nearby hospitals" feature, Steady Aid requests your location (only while the app is in use) to show your distance to nearby hospitals and to open your device's Maps app. Your location is not stored by Steady Aid or sent to any server we control. Granting location access is optional — the rest of the app works without it.

Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store, using RevenueCat as our subscription management provider. RevenueCat receives standard purchase and device information (such as an anonymous device identifier and purchase receipt data) needed to verify your subscription and unlock Premium content. We do not receive or store your payment details — those are handled entirely by Apple. RevenueCat's own privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.

What we don't do

Children's privacy

Steady Aid is a general-audience reference app and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The optional health profile is filled in voluntarily by the user and stored only on-device.
